This was my first experience with any kind of major renovation, so I was understandably nervous about who to get to do the work. My kitchen designer recommended a contractor who gave me a quote that was beyond scary! I did some research and decided to contact Tuon Home Improvement and I am so glad that I did. The quote was very reasonable; we did end up paying a little above the original quote but these were for things that Eduardo had told us up front might turn out to be an issue once they started work so they weren't unexpected. Tuon Home Improvement have their own construction teams so there was no subcontracting involved, which meant that there were people working here every day. The guys that were here worked hard and the bulk of the work (demolition, floor tiling, electrical and plumbing work and installation of cabinets) was all completed in three weeks for a kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. They came back promptly after the countertop was installed to finish the tiling and to put in the rest of the appliances. Eduardo always replied promptly when I contacted him and made a few suggestions for improvements. Following water/ mold damage cleanup to the basement, the crew had to repair walls, install insulation, flooring, doors and build shelves, then paint. Our home had water damage from a 2nd floor bathroom leak that affected the bathroom and the ceiling on the 1st floor.
